Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen 2017

Brooke Eve Cyr

Our reigning Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen, Brooke Eve Cyr, is 15 years old and an honors student at Holy Cross High School where is also on the National Honor Society.  Born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, Brooke is an advocate and ambassador for Multiple Sclerosis awareness and has built a platform entitled “Stronger Together:  Building a World Free of MS.”  She has worked with the Multiple Sclerosis Society for three years and is a co-captain of Sully’s Shamrock MS fundraising team.  Having helped to raise over $60,000 for MS awareness and research, Brooke plans to use her time as Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen to further promote her issue of concern.

Over the course of her competitive career with the Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen Program, Brooke was a four-time recipient of the Organization’s Community Service Award, was selected as Miss Congeniality and has been a top fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

In her spare time Brooke is a competitive cheerleader often seen on the sidelines with her varsity teammates.  Over the course of her cheerleading career, she is proud to have won the “Mary Jane Adessio Cheer Award” two times.  Brooke is no stranger to feats of physical prowess.  As an avid athlete, Brooke can walk on her hands for over ten minutes and aspires to break the Guinness Book of World Record for consecutive back hand springs.
