What was your first thought when you were crowned Miss Forestville’s Outstanding Teen?

I felt that all the blood, sweat, and tears had paid off! There’s no other feeling than being rewarded for all your hardwork!

What do you hope to accomplish as Miss Forestville’s Oustanding Teen?

My goal as Miss Forestville’s Outsanding Teen was to assemble a team for the March of Dimes walk which is my platform. Ever since I was 5 years old it has been my dream to assemble a team of my own and I was actually able to accomplish this goal! Back on April 28th my team and I “crowns for a cause” marched for babies in East Hartford.

To you, why is Miss America still relevant?

Miss America empowers the strength, the beauty, and the education in women. To me Miss America isn’t a beauty pageant is it an opportunity for young women to expand their capabilities, from interview skills to receiving scholarship money.

What has been your favorite appearance thus far as Miss Forestville’s Outstanding Teen)?

Hands down the special friends holiday party I attended. This appearance was my very first appearance as Miss Forestville’s Outstanding Teen! It was my first time interacting with the Bristol community and I was able to dance and have lunch with some of the Bristol community. It was a blast!

What is your favorite quote?

“A smile is the best makeup a girl could wear.” – Marilyn Monroe

Fun fact:

When I was three years old my favorite show was the Golden Girls! (My mom has always said I have an old soul!)

Who would you like to thank for helping you get to this point?

November of 2009, I was 5 years old and I watched my cousin Erin being crowned Miss Wolcott’s Outstanding Teen. Ever since that moment I knew this is what I wanted to do! So i want to thank both my cousin Erin and my parents for getting me to this point. I love you guys!
